Tewit Silver Band formed in November 2017, as an adult arm of the long established Tewit Youth Band.
Our objective is to advance the participation, education and appreciation of the general public of all ages in the science of brass band music in Tewit and the surrounding areas through the provision of rehearsal facilities, instrument hire and tuition and by the participation in concerts and concerts.
We enjoy entertaining people of all ages at our concerts throughout the year - see our events section for details of where you can see us performing.
As a contesting band we have had an amazing year claiming the following titles:
- North of England 2nd Section Champions 2022
- National 3rd Section Champions 2021
- Holme Valley Section B Section Champions 2022
